Dr. Junhua Zhang is currently a Professor of Political Science at the School of International and Public Affairs of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). He acts as director of International Master’s Degree Program of the SJTU, and executive director the Centre for Contemporary Sino-Israel Studies (CCSIS – in establishment). He was senior visiting fellow of the University of Sussex in 2011 and visiting professor of the Hebrew University 2012. In addition, he is senior associate at the European Institute for Asian Studies (EIAS) based in Brussels.
Since 2008 he has been guest editor for the Journal of Historical Sociology based in London. Dr. Zhang received his PhD in philosophy from the J.W.Goethe-University in Germany. Apart from his long-term academic career at the Free University Berlin and Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin in Germany, he has also served as a visiting professor at several universities around the world, including the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada, the University of Moscow, and the Institut Européen des Hautes Etudes Internationales. Since 2007 he has been a member of the Advisory Board and guest professor of the Donube University Krems in Austria.

| His research fields are China’s political system, international politics with focus on security policy and international political economy and social memory. His recently published books are: Participatory Budgeting in Asia and Europe - Key Challenges of Participation (with Rudolf Traub-Merz, ed.) 2012,Houndmills, Basingstoke: Palgrave Macmillan; Perspectives of the Labour Contract Law in China (with Xu Xiaohong), 2010. Dr. Junhua Zhang speaks English, German and Russian. He is fond of Chinese traditional music. 张俊华博士是我院政治学系教授。他是国际硕士项目 的主任，同时也是交大以色列研究中心的执行主任。他曾是2011年英国Sussex大学的访问学者，2012年以色列希伯莱大学的访问教授。同时，他也是全欧亚州研究所的高级 研究员。 2008至2012年，他受历史社会学杂志（Journal of Historical Sociology）之邀担任客座编辑，负责出版“社会记忆研究专辑“（2012年6月出版）。 他在德国法兰克福大学获得哲学博士学位，在柏林自由大学任教数年，也在德国的社会科学研究所工作过。 曾在加拿大维多利亚大学，莫斯科经济学院和欧洲国际学院担任过访问教授。自2007年，他任奥地利多瑙河大学的专家组成员和客座教授。 他的研究领域包括中国政治制度，国际关系（侧重于国际政治经济学和安全 政策）以及社会记忆。 他最近主编出版的书籍Participatory Budgeting in Asia and Europe - Key Challenges of Participation（与Rudolf Traub-Merz一起主编 2012），《 劳动合同法实施状况与前景展望》（与徐小洪教授和著，北京社会科学出版社，2010）。 张俊华博士会说英语，德语和 俄语。 喜爱中国传统音乐。 |
