沈洋，硕士生导师。她在复旦大学获得历史学学士学位，在伦敦政治经济学院获得博士学位（2015年）。她的博士论文关注的是服务业农民工性别化的人生经历。为收集一手资料，她在餐馆前后打工7个月，通过观察他们在工作场合、亲密关系以及娱乐活动中性别化的人生经历。未来三年，除了继续研究服务业打工人员之外，她正在进行的研究包括：购房决策中的亲密关系研究，来沪打工人员的住房问题，以及网络相亲研究等。

沈洋博士在国际知名同行评审期刊上发表论文数篇。她曾在多次国际学术会议上发言，并担任SSCI期刊Men and Masculinities, Chinese Sociological Review的匿名评审人。沈博士希望用大众能理解的方式谈社会问题，这是她持续为中英文媒体供稿的动力。

沈洋博士曾在伦敦中央圣马丁学院参加过电影剧本写作进修班，正在写电影剧本，并兼职电视剧剧本顾问。她游历过30多个国家，对禅修亦有心得。

Yang Shen did her PhD in Gender Studies at the London School of Economics. She is an assistant professor in the School of International and Public Affairs at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her PhD thesis looks at gendered experiences of migrant workers in the service sector in China. Her current research focuses on housing and intimacy, online dating, and migrant housing and informal settlement in China. Her research interests lie in feminist theories, qualitative research methods, contemporary China studies, migration studies, and urban informal settlements.  

Her academic articles appeared in China Quarterly, and Asia & the Pacific Policy Studies. She is an ad hoc reviewer for peer-reviewed journals including Men and Masculinities and Chinese Sociological Review.

Dr. Shen is also a script consultant and a freelancer writer for various media both in Chinese and in English.
